TELCO have been very helpful in providing us with assistance throughout the project.
TELCO are a small company who supply a range of electric motors and electric launches. They have set world records for electric boat performance, so we are delighted to be associated with them.
The Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE)
SAMPE have provided us with useful assistance and advice regarding composites.
SAMPE provides information on new materials and processing technologies through variety of methods. The team spoke at the SAMPE AGM on May 17th 2007.

Morningstar Corporation has very kindly agreed to sponsor major components for our electronic power control system. They are one of the world's leading manufacturers in photovoltaic charge controllers and solar lighting controllers for solar electric systems.

Teleflex Marine has kindly agreed to provide us with a remote steering control system through its UK distributor. Teleflex Marine is part of the Teleflex group, a leading global supplier to the automotive, marine, industrial, medical and aerospace industries.

Bainbridge Marine are the main UK distributors for Teleflex Marine products. Bainbridge Marine is also a leading UK marine wholesalers, supplying over 6000 products to chandlers, boat builders, riggers and marine engineers. They have kindly agreed to provide us with the Teleflex steering system as well as other equipment for the boat.

Power-Sonic is a global leading manufacturer of Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries and have been supplying into a wide range of industries for over 37 years. They have kindly agreed to provide us with a battery through their Dutch distributors, Battery Benelux

NASA Marine Instruments have are known worldwide for manufacturing robust, reliable products that are value for money. They have kindly agreed to subsidise our purchase of a Clipper Battery monitor.

Hemrik Marine is a lead marine retailer of boats large and small in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands and has a wide variety of equipment and clothing for a wide range of watersports in addition to a superb enclosed marina off one of the main canals for weatherproof boat storage. They kindly supplied the Solar Spirit team with a top class boat trailer on loan for the duration of the 2008 Frisian Solar Challenge to aid in the transport of Solar Spirit for which we are extremely grateful.
We are continually searching for further sponsorship for the Solar Spirit project, both financially and through direct supply of products or components. The main project areas are:
